Marie-Flore brings her extensive background in scaling and transforming healthcare businesses to the role, contributing strategic insights to investment decisions and actively supporting the KELES investment team in deal flow analysis, portfolio management, and value creation. Her strategic vision and hands-on approach to organisational change will be instrumental in identifying growth opportunities and driving impactful transformations within KELES portfolio companies, and this direct experience growing medtech and pharma businesses will be invaluable for KELES.
Professional Healthcare experience
For more than 20 years, Marie-Flore has held senior leadership roles at top life sciences organisations. In the last few years at Abbott, both as Divisional Vice President for Canada/LATAM at Abbott Diabetes Care, and as General Manager of Abbott Diabetes Care in Canada, she focused on digital innovations to improve the lives of the people living with diabetes.
She has seen first-hand which digital health innovations can succeed and the factors behind their success. She also has a unique knowledge of what big MedTech are looking for. At AstraZeneca, she held pivotal roles, including Vice President of Strategy for the International Region and Head of Global Commercial Capabilities, where she led the development of a global capabilities platform to enhance sales effectiveness.

Marie-Flore’s expertise spans several high-growth therapeutic areas, including Virology, Cardiometabolic, Women’s Health, Respiratory, Oncology, and Infectious Diseases. Her leadership has driven major strategic initiatives in international markets, resulting in sustainable business expansion and significant value creation.
Before her executive roles, Marie-Flore conducted research both in private industry in Europe and the USA, as well as at the University of Arizona and Kent State University. She earned her Ph.D. and Master’s in Physical Chemistry from the University of Bordeaux, and an MBA from the University of Chicago. This foundation, combined with her scientific rigor and strategic business insight, supports her ongoing mission to drive transformational growth and deliver exceptional outcomes across the healthcare industry.
